Hi:

 

First you need to install this hotfix.

 

If you have tried to install any audio drivers, you need to uninstall them first before running this program.

Then you need to install this driver.

Hi,

        I can't run hotfix because it requires a Windows XP Service Pack 3 or later version and .NET Framework 2.0 or later version. I have only Windows XP Service Pack 2 and no .NET Framework. But when I tried to skip the hotfix and install your recommended driver, it works. Thanks a lot... Anyway what is .NET Framework is for?

 I have installed "drivers for free" tool on ma laptop... It seached for the drivers and installed all the drivers... Now it works perfectly...

Hi:

 

Sorry that didn't work. According to the product number of your notebook that is the only driver available.

 

Please go to the device manager and click on the audio device needing drivers, and then click on the details tab.

 

Post the hardware ID you see there.

 

I want to confirm that the audio chip in your model is the Conexant AC-Link Audio chip. Audio Drivers for compaq presario V2000

hola porfavor necesito que me ayudes con este mismo caso... ahora me puedes decir paso por paso como debo de hacer no entiendo casi de estas cosas porfavor.. ya tengo dos meses buscando este controlador y muchos mas de mi portatil compaq presario v2000 .
