Perhaps, you could define those 2-3 options you have on the screen,
According to what I see, it should be listed under component test and if it isn't, there could be a hardware failure as the sound card isn't detected on the PC,
Therefore, you could contact HP as previously suggested to set up repair/replacement service order.

Click here for instructions on initiating and running a hardware diagnostics test, look under Component tests you should have an option to run Audio test,
If it doesn't work or doesn't show up, as I mentioned earlier, it's because the hardware isn't detected and requires a repair.
