This is the second HP i got after returning the first one for hardware issues. Upon using it my audio gets hissy/ small static sound if you put your hear near the speaker. If you increase the audio you can hear a slight echo with throughout the laptop. It only happens when the laptop is plugged in. Maybe it's the higher pitches but it's always buzzing low static sound on the right side of the speaker. All the required updates for windows I have just done. Is there a solution to this?

Please download and perform a clean install the following Realtek Audio software first
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp97001-97500/sp97080.exe
If no luck, please post back what EXACTLY your Spectre x360 is .
Regards.

You have to install AFTER doing a factory reset. Clean install simply means
(a) uninstall the old Realtek audio driver,
(b) reboot machine,
(c) install new driver using downloaded file,
(d) reboot machine.
