My laptop intel CORE  i3-1005G1, is making a chronic ringing/ alarm sound every two seconds. I don't know why and have no idea how to stop the sound. It is driving me crazy

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

 

I see you are experiencing Audio issues with the HP Notebook.  

 

I have a few recommendations 

  • Update your Notebook computer to latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Check with any alternate headphones if it works fine. 
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date. 
  • Try with USB/Wireless headset if it works
  • You can do Reset PC Keep my files from windows and check if it works.
