HP Envy Bang & Olufsen
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My audio stopped working on my laptop, I can't hear any sound. I re-installed the driver many times, went through all of the troubleshooting and nothing has worked.

But what is your computer ?  Please do a clean install Audio software/driver, this should help.

(a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,

     https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp95501-96000/sp95512.exe

(b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver (Realtek) and reboot,
(c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
(d) Reboot again.

Regards.

Hello,

I received a message that the new driver isn't supported by my OS. I have HP Envy Notebook, Windows 10 Home, Version 1803, 64-bit operating system. Is there anything else I can do?
