After a recent update the sound has stopped working. I have the newest driver installed (that I know of) and have restarted multiple times, any advice?

Before we can help, we need to know what EXACTLY is your machine and its Operating System ? Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

    or

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).

No, HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cw1xxx is not the right model/product. Anyway, I use the following machine to answer your question

      HP Pavilion - 15-cw1063wm

This is something to do with AMD drivers. Please

   (a) Uninstall Audio driver from Device Manager,

   (b) do a cleanup using following information/fix:

                https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-601

                https://drivers.amd.com/drivers/amdcleanuputility.exe

   (c) reboot machine

Machine will re-install Audio driver for you.

Regards.

I went through this process, but I still have no sound. Any other tips?
