About three weeks ago, after an system update, I noticed that, if I moved my laptop, I would lose or gain audio. For example, if I started a video, and didn't hear sound, I could tilt the laptop and sometimes get clear audio back. Alternatively, sometimes the audio would work fine initially, and then cut out.
I have tried troubleshooting and restarting my laptop, but the situation is not improving. I appreciate any advice you could offer!
My OS system is Windows 10 Home.

Welcome to HP Support Community
I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...
HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
-
Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
-
Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
-
Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
-
Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
-
Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Also, ensure Windows is up to date.
Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available
If the issue persists, click on this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c00833257 for Resolving No Sound or Audio Problems.
Keep me posted, how it goes!

I downloaded the HP Support Assistant. I've run every troubleshooting program, compelted all updates, consulted the online troubleshooter function, and I still am having audio problems. If I tilt or move the laptop, I will get sound and then lose sound. I thought doing a hardware scan would come up with some actual problem, but all the troubleshooting actions come up with everything working well. Except the audio doesn't.
