Omen 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Whenever I play a game via the omen gaming hub, the sound is very silent and I have to turn it up to 100 to hear it at what seems like appropriate level. Currently, I'm playing Dragon Age: Inquisition. Whenever I'm listening to music or sound through the internet, I only need to have it around 30-40 to produce sound I can hear. Can someone help?

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

  • Did the issue start after the Windows update?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?

Meanwhile, if the issue started after a Windows update, then some of our computers were affected by the audio issue due to an update from Intel.

 

Perform a power reset using the below link:

Then, let's update the BIOS and Chipset of the OMEN using this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/omen-by-hp-15-dc0000-laptop-pc/20329817/model/22488...
