Hi @senugalle,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems like you're dealing with a stuck piece of audio cable in the audio jack of your HP Laptop 15s. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this.
- Turn Off the Laptop: Make sure your laptop is powered off to avoid any electrical damage or accidental button presses.
- Use Tweezers or a Small Tool: Gently use a pair of fine-tipped tweezers or a similar small tool to grip the stuck piece of the cable. Be very careful not to damage the audio jack or push the piece further inside.
- Use Compressed Air: Sometimes blowing compressed air into the audio jack can help dislodge the stuck piece if it’s not too firmly wedged. Use short bursts to avoid damaging internal components.
- Try a Paperclip: If the object is small and not deeply stuck, you can try straightening a paperclip and carefully nudging the piece out.
- Apply a Small Amount of WD-40: If the piece seems jammed, applying a tiny amount of WD-40 (or similar lubricant) to the audio jack can help loosen it. Be sure to wipe off any excess to avoid getting it into the laptop's internals.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
