Example: Pavilion 15 CW 1012NA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've got a brand new Pavillion Lap Top, tells me its complete with B&O sound. Trouble is, while sound is perfect through headphones, without headphones the sound is barely audible even when turned up to 100%. I put Netflix on, and for the first few seconds I get full sound, then it gets progressively quieter after that. If I turn vol to 50% there is no sound at all. I've read a bunch of forums, tried uninstalling driver and restarting, but not worked. Anyone any ideas? starting to lose my temper - should work straight out of the box, its brand new.

@Mellers

Please do a clean install Audio software/driver, this should help.

(a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,
          https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp100001-100500/sp100144.exe
(b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver (Realtek) and reboot,
(c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
(d) Reboot again.

Regards.
