Please download and perform a CLEAN install the following Realtek Audio software
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp97001-97500/sp97080.exe
You may have to use older version (if no luck for the above software).
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp88001-88500/sp88218.exe
