B&O Play Realtek HD audio quality problem after W10 Anniversary update

HP Pavilion 15t M7H65AV L9S44
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After updating my Windows 10 64bit Home Edition with the anniversary update I realized that the sound quality declined slightly. The difference is not too big but as a musician I feel it clearly.

I am focusing on headphone usage, switching to built-in speakers the difference is less sensible.

The sound level decreased significantly, I had to raise the volume bar from 25% to 40-50% to have the same volume.

Also the overall quality, richness , stereophonic effect, reverberation is decreased by 20-30%.

The sound became a little bit blunt compared to the state before updating the system.

I removed/deleted the software/driver completely and tried all versions of available drivers published on HP support page related to my notebook, the result is the same.

Realtek HD Audio Driver versions which I tried:

6.0.1.7548 [2015-07-21]

6.0.1.7584 [2015-08-14]

6.0.1.7730 [2016-01-26]

My system: HP Pavilion 15t M7H65AV L9S44, Realtek HD Audio ALC290 with B&O Play.

Any comments are welcome!

B&O Play Realtek HD audio quality problem after W10 Anniversary update

Hi,

The  No Sound from Speakers (Windows 10) is not relevant since I have sound as I had before but I have some problem with its quality.

However I checked the link you have provided and the system is up to date and running fine. Also I ran the diagnostic utilities provided by HP with good results.

I am also waiting for other users with similar system configuration to assure me or refute that this is a real problem.

B&O Play Realtek HD audio quality problem after W10 Anniversary update

It "seems" that updates (KB3176934 and KB3176936) rolled out yesterday solved my problem with audio quality...
