Victus s0089ax

The B&O audio app is missing from my device. Is it not available on newer victus anymore or what. I tried searching microsoft store too coulndt find it

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution. 

 

It looks like the Bang & Olufsen (B&O) Audio Control app may not be pre-installed or supported on newer HP Victus models, including the Victus s0089AX. HP has been gradually replacing the B&O app with Realtek Audio Console or OMEN Audio Control, depending on the hardware and drivers used in your laptop.

 

1. Check HP Support for Audio Drivers

  • Go to HP’s official support page
  • Enter your laptop model: Victus s0089AX
  • Look under the Drivers & Software section and check for Audio Drivers.
  • If there's a Realtek Audio driver available, download and install it. This may restore B&O settings if they are supported.

2. Install Realtek Audio Console

Since many HP laptops with Realtek sound cards now use Realtek Audio Console instead of the B&O app:

  • Open Microsoft Store
  • Search for Realtek Audio Console
  • If available, install it and check if you can adjust audio settings there.

3. Check for OMEN Gaming Hub

Some newer HP gaming laptops have integrated audio settings within the OMEN Gaming Hub instead of a separate B&O app:

  • Install OMEN Gaming Hub from the Microsoft Store
  • Open it and navigate to Audio Settings to check if B&O features are included.

4. Try Installing an Older B&O App (If Compatible)

If your laptop supports it, you might be able to install an older version of the Bang & Olufsen Audio Control app:

  • Download an older version of the B&O Audio Control software from HP’s website under your model’s driver page.
  • Install it and restart your laptop.

Hi, @Zoey7886 Thanks for your reply,

 

I already have installed most recent drivers, It didn't bring B&O audio control app

 

Cannot find realtek audio control app on Microsoft store. 

My omen gaming hub has options for voice and cam powered by nvida broadcast, but not b&o audio settings .

 

I tried installing older drivers as well but they don't contain b&o audio control app

 

I noticed the "myhp" has audio settings and Equalizer it shows the audio by b&o and 3 sound modes, music, voice, movie...is this it? or I'm supposed to have omen/realtek audio app because the speakers don't sound very great compared to my old Victus 16e000ax model which also has b&o speakers and b&o app which had much more clear louder and good audio quality
