Product: Omen by HP laptop 17-cb1xxx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased a HP omen 17in gaming laptop last year however the supposedly fantastic Bang & Olufsen audio system has been mediocre at best, the sound level was too low for piano lessons over zoom and the teacher complained about hiccups (networking running at high speed) and sound distortion (all sound manipulation technologies in zoom turned off when possible). I can't even record my own conversation using the built-in sound recorder; the replay was just awful. Anyone else has similar experience?

Please try HP Audio Control and use Equalizer to adjust sound on your machine. Hope this helps.

 

You can access HP Audio Control: Hit Win key, scroll down to HP folder and select Equalizer.
