Beats Audio Control Panel in Windows 8

I recently upgraded my computer to Windows 8 from 7. I can't find the Beats Audio Control Panel. How can I get this back onto my computer

Re: Beats Audio Control Panel in Windows 8

I assume you have upgraded after checking for Windows 8 drivers for your Notebook -- and you can get the update from your Notebook's website.

Start at

Support and Drivers

  • The Beats Audio is part of your HD Audio driver.
  • Download the updated HD driver for Windows 8, install, and reboot.
  • While you are at your computer's website, you should check for any other updates.

  • If your notebook has the SimplePass security module (for the fingerprinter), and you were running on Windows 7 software, you will need to update your SimplePass.  You can continue to use the same Vaildity Sensor driver.

Good Luck!

Go to control panel > hardware and sound > and you will find it there on the list.
