by the way I love to hear the shiss shiss of cymbals and tamborines and that sort of thing....not the bass frigging drum....I use to play trumpet and the good thing was it didn't need an amp...it stands alone....and the other music to me makes the sound not the thump thump of a head bangin drum or bass bottom line...don't get me wrong all music is built on a base and together if done well it can be a **bleep** good experience...which is what it is supposed to be...a lifting of the soul to a higher plane so to speak above all the crappola/

Someone help me. I have an HP Pavilion dv7-6163us with beats audio. My system used to sound very loud and the audio was very nice but now it sounds really lame. I'm not sure whether my beats audio is working anymore or its the normal audio thats working. And if the beats audio isnt working please what can I do to make it start working again and produce quality sound for me on my laptop... Thanks guys

Sry to say this, but this is not a troubleshooting forum, you have to create your own if you require help.

I have a DV7 and have spent that last few hours tinkering with my beats equalizer trying to tune it to the most desirable sound for my ears. I am using headphones and I really could care less for figuring out a good sound for the laptop speakers as I never listen to music unless I am using headphones. I have come up with an equalizer setting that is best suited and meant for in ear headphones. I do not know this setting would sound on any other speaker form. And lets not forget what may sound amazing to me might sound completely terrible to you as we are all different. But I quite enjoy this equalizer setting and I can hear everything in all my music playback. Thanks to the poster for teaching me that adjusting my equalizer settings can make my sound come alive. Alright so remember it is the equlalizer in the beats audio control panel that I have adjusted and make sure there are no other sound enhancements/effects on in your media player or in the windows audio control panel. All that should be set in the windows audio control panel is the tone and bass all the way up to 4. The numbers I am going to list literally will mean the decibels and the numbers are to be used from left to right when adjusting the equalizer. So you will start with the far left (31Hz) and work your way to the right.

Hi,

I recently purchased a HP Pavilion dv6 laptop with Beats Audio built in.

I searched online and everywhere, but i can't find the best suitable audio panel settings.

Most of the dv6 audio panel tutorials online are old versions of the dv6 beats

When I open my beats audio panel and go to listening experience, this is what I see:

Music 3D content and Movie

Bass Treble, Center and Space

65Hz 125Hz 250Hz 500Hz 1kHz 3kHz 6kHz 9kHz 12kHz

Please help me with the best audio settings for both speaker and headphone sound

Thanks,

Try not to bump, hp really doesnt like that. What problems or questions do you need help with, specifically?
