Hi

I have a Hp Envy 15 laptop with built in beats speakers. The laptop model is from 2013.

I seem to get no sound from my laptop anymore. It all started after I turned on my laptop after a month, it updated and boom the sound was gone. Sometimes I get sound for less than 5 seconds or youtube displays a message 'audio rendered an error, please restart'. I have literally tried everything. Troubleshooting, uninstalling and reinstalling, installing the driver from 2013 but nothing seems to work at all. Updating the default driver shows a message 'this device cannot start(code 10)'
Please help

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer if your notebook has the IDT with Beats Audio system would be to see if this W10 IDT audio driver from a newer model notebook works for you.   Restart the PC after installing the driver.

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, I do not.
