Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Envy laptop seems to struggle with bluetooth connectivity. When connected to my headphones (Sennheiser PXC 550) the laptop cannot output the audio most of the time, when it does it works smoothly for maybe 5 seconds before crackling and cutting out, even disconnecting the device at times. The headphones work perfectly with my phone and PC, so the laptop has to be the issue. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling all bluetooth drivers (nothing changed), I have also tried running the bluetooth trouble-shooter which claims to have fixed my issue, it has not. 

If anyone can assist me in getting a stable audio connection that would be great, I am getting very frustrated, all this money on a device that can't hold a solid connection with a bluetooth device, what year are we in!?
