Hi there!
I'm facing the following issue while trying to download the latest audio driver for my computer ( HP 850 G5 ) :

Latest driver package by HP, sp140283.exe is corrupted, checksum failed.

You can verify the same by navigating to & downloading the file from HP's FTP server on the following link: URL to driver

As far as I can tell, other users also reported the same issue, with no further updates available.

Link to the same issue reported by another user to this community:  URL - Same issue reported by other users

Can someone suggest a way to resolve this issue?

BR,

Csaba

I just downloaded the driver and opened it without experiencing any result of corruption or checksum fail. I used Chrome browser. Which browser were you using?

Chrome BrowserChrome Browser

Whenever I run into an issues such as what you reported I immediately try a different browser. (i.e. Edge, FireFox or others)

Dear Erico,

After re-downloading the file once again (I've tried it multiple times before) with the same browser (MS Edge) the extraction is now successful.
Thanks for the tip, have a nice day!

Csaba
