My laptop just automatically updated and ever since the sound has not worked. I constantly receive error messages stating that "A Conexant audio device could not be found. the application will now exit." I tried to resolve the issue by updating the smart audio drive but I could not find in the device manager.

- What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824 (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).
- What is the operating system?
- Could you please share the picture of the Audio device error message screen?
