Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I checked Windows community for the solution but someone else is still experiencing the same problem with no solution from Microsoft. i did the scannow and health check with no problems. I also followed all the repair attempts they listed but got the same result as the person posting.

Hey there! @nes55

Were there any recent windows update on the PC?

Please share the product number of the PC to assist you better.

Try updating the Windows to the latest version.

If you still can’t fix your problem with the Start menu, try creating a new local administrator account.

If you're signed in with your Microsoft account, remove the link to that account first by doing the following (otherwise see "Create the new administrator account"):

  1. Select Start , then choose Settings .
  2. In Settings, select Accounts  Sign in with a local account instead.
  3. Type your Microsoft account password and select Next.
  4. Choose a new account name, password, and password hint, and then select Finish and sign out.

Create the new administrator account:

  1. Select Start , then choose Settings .
  2. In Settings, select Accounts  > Family & other people  (or Other users , if you’re using Windows 10 Enterprise).
  3. Under Other users , select Add someone else to this PC.
  4. On Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Professional, provide a name for the user and a password, and then select Next. On Windows 10 Enterprise, select I don’t have this person’s sign-in information, and then select Add a user without a Microsoft account.
  5. Set a user name, password, and password hint. Then select Next > Finish.

Lastly, if the issue still persists try performing a system reset on the PC.

Thanks for the good work. I was struggling with some other problems such as half the store apps not working. So I did a clean install that fixed all of those things. I am not getting e-mail notifications when anyone posts a reply or I would respond right away. The e-mail me box is checked so I have to keep checking back frequently. Thanks so much for your knowledge.
