I recently bought my girlfriend some ATH-M50X's, as well as a ModMic 5, and they both sounded pretty bad. The microphone had this audible hissing/buzzing sound, and she said the headphones sounded like her ears were plugged. This was completely different from how my ModMic Wireless sounds over discord, as well as how good the M50X's sounded over my setup, so I'm thinking it's some sort of HP Post-Processing or signal restriction that's causing the horrible sound to come from her audio jack. Have any of you had experience removing the HP bloatware in relation to audio quality and getting stock Windows audio drivers? Thank you!
