Does the New HP Spectre x360 15 Inch 2017 Support Bluetooth Apt-X?

HP Spectre x360 15 inch 2017
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, just bought this brand new laptop 2 in 1. I know that the device comes with intel wireless and bluetooth. I am wondering if the device will support atpx? If not who can I talk to so we can get that going? Thanks.

Both source and destination devices must support it. Here is the aptx website and the list of supported notebooks is pretty short:

https://www.aptx.com/products/samsung-ativ-book-9-plus-notebook

HP does not support aptx in any way since it is proprietary and they do not own it.

hi there, i have/had the same question. On reddit I saw this solution. I did not try and experiment yet, but maybe "the experts" know whether this trick is harmless or not. See this link: https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/comments/6v0w1l/enable_aptx_on_hp_spectre_x360_2017_and_other/

My question is if this would answer the question. I have the HP Spectre Pro x360 G2 with WIN 10 pro.

Would be really nice if this would work. Thanks in advance.
