Hi,
Few days ago, due to infected with Trojans, I done a FRESH RESTART for my laptop then installed Windows 10 Home Version 1803 with build 17134 (previously was Windows 10 Home Version 1709 with build 16xxx) and because of that, most of the programs including personal downloaded softwares were being removed away from Programs and Features.
Currently as shown in Programs and Features, my laptop only have Intel PROSet/Wireless Software v-20.50.1, Realtek Card Reader v-10.0.370.154 and Realtek High Definition Audio Driver v-6.0.1.8228 for audio settings etc.
My laptop has no issues at the moment except F6 button can't light up after press on it for muting sound. It can mute sound, I can see a bar comes out with a cross but its red light doesn't appear anymore even though I press the button several times.
Is there a resolution to this? Please advise. Thank you.

Hi,
Try the following.
Hold down the Windows key and press R
Into the Run window, type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
In Device Manager, expand Sound, Video and Game Controllers. Right click the Realtek device and select Uninstall device - Do not enter a check mark in the box to remove the current driver and proceed with the uninstall.
When this has completed, click on 'Action' in the toolbar and select 'Scan for hardware changes'.
Give this a minute or so to complete and then check the funtion of the mute led.
