Modifying the sqlite database did NOT work for me. The only thing that works is renaming Flow.exe (to _Flow.exe, or anything else).

To my knowledge the solution to this issue is to update the Conexant driver.
but the link to the driver Inside this doc is outdated.
Latest version is dated July 2019 : 126.96.36.199 Rev.Q

That is NOT a driver meant for my computer (HP Envy as133cl).
Latest drivers for my laptop (with Conexant still causing Flow.exe to spike when Firefox is running):

I tried to install the driver you suggest, but it won't install because it isn't compatible with this laptop.

Same exact problem on EliteBook 840, Windows 10
Uninstalled Conexant B&O in control panel, rebooted, I have my system back.
I am going to run without sound for now so I can work.
How are HP and Conexant still in business? This is a shameful situation
