Fn volume keys trouble

HP Recommended
HP ENVY
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have a HP ENVY with Windows 10 installed, and I have been having trouble with my Fn volume key. It suddenly stopped working a couple days ago. The thing is the rest of the function keys work properly, it´s just the Up/down volume and mute fn keys that don´t work.  Has this happened to anyone else? Or does anyone know how I might fix it? Thanks!

Welcome to HP Community

I suggest you reinstall the Keyboard driver from device manager

Open Device Manager, right-click the Keyboard driver and select Uninstall. Restart your Notebook and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

Also update the BIOS from this Link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

If the issue persists run a Keyboard Test to confirm the Hardware Functionality

- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second.
- When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the main menu, click Component Tests and Keyboard

Keep me posted how it goes 😊
