This is a peer to peer forum.  We do not work for or represent HP, so we cannot officially advise you regarding the warranty terms and conditions.

Maintenance and Service Guide HP Pavilion Gaming 15 Laptop PC

 

If you look at Chapter 5, the removal and replacement of memory is an authorized customer procedure, so you will probably not void the warranty unless you break something in the process of upgrading the memory.
