HP PROBOOK 450 G7
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am nerved too from the low going sound level on my 450 G7 Notebook.

The first suggested solution , which I found in the community, was deinstalling and installing the driver.

But this was to do after every restart.

The recent solution is to deactivate the sound enhancement.

When you deactivate the soundenhancements, the quality of the sound becomes worse. With this steps you normally deactivate some features of the sound device.

I think it is a problem of the installed driver .

On my system the version 6.0.8996.1 from Realtek is installed.

Question especially to the HP support:

Is this driver the correct driver ?

Kind regards

Manfred

We have been having the same issues over here with a lot of our probook 450 g7s. It sounds very low and bad quality. This sound issue has happened with around 50 of our devices and the only thing that really has worked is the sound enhancement disable fix. The strange thing is that a lot of them that have the same drivers don't experience this issue.
