HP DV6-6154TX speakers sound suddenly seems to be very low

Seems HP is beating around the bush. I too have the same problem. This is a DRIVER problem. On my system when you go to sounds in device manager, the " Bar indicator" barely registers when volume is maxed.( 1 bar out of 10) I am using the newest HP drivers for this system (sp63555). If you can't fix it AT LEAST be honest to those of us who have spent GOOD MONEY to get the Beats audio effect. My DV^ now sounds like a tin can and audio control if useless unless connected to an aplified external speaker system.
