Product: HP Pavilion - 15-cs3073cl
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to connect a device to my line-in and it is not working on this laptop.  I have done this many times with other  computers and on this laptop it is not working.  Normally I can connect my device to the headphone/microphone jack and change the audio to use the line-in instead of the mic and it all works fine.  For some reason when I do that on this laptop it is not working.  What could I be doing wrong?  I have tried to reinstall my software and audio drivers and this is not working.  I can go to a Dell machine and connect it all the same way and it works perfectly.  What am I mission on this laptop?
