I have the same issue but its with Right Speaker. Sometime ago it was working fine but now its now. Not sure whats wrong as I have all the latest windows and HP drivers updated. The HP support assistant doesnt flag up for any updates either.

Its a shame that such a premium laptop has this issues.

I Wish if HP releases clear guideline to fix this issue.

Thanks

Vineet

@Vinzy

Please do a clean install Audio software/driver, this should help.

(a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,

   https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp93001-93500/sp93151.exe

(b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver (Realtek) and reboot,
(c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
(d) Reboot again.

Regards.

Thanks for your response. I have reinstalled it as advised. But not the left speaker is fixed but the problem occured in the right one. Its so funny and irritating, at one speaker has the problem at any given time. Now the right speaker has very low volume compared to the left one.

Any more suggestions are welcome and willing to try.

Thanks
