HP envy 15.6" continual beeping sound

I bought my laptop two days ago (5/24/20190 and it also has intermittent beeping. I have noticed that if it is stuck with the beep tone going constantly, I can plug in headphones and then the sound stops.

 

I don't want to keep a defective laptop. How can I return this if I bought it in Michigan and moved to Washington yesterday?
