Product: ENVY
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just want to say - computer is AWESOME - except the sound.  I work for Mercedes and know all about B&O speakers, was stoked for this laptop.  BOO HP! 

After Window 10, never works - not for long, despite extensive Geek squad intervention, via web and in store.

 

Anyhow, ONLY thing that I found that works - is

at the windows logo, type SERVICES

Select desktop app

scroll way down to windows audio

right click. select STOP

wait, then START

the RESTART LAPTOP.

 

I'm going to try to start doing this every time before I power off - see if it will come up all refreshed.


GOOD LUCK TO ALL YOU OTHERS WITHOUT SOUND!
