HP Envy x360 (2020)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I purchased the HP envy x360 Ryzen 5 about 6 months ago. The issue I am having that that the sound randomly goes up and down. I have tried to update the sound drivers, delete and re install the sound drivers. BUT I am still have the same issues. Even went as far as re installing the laptop back to factory default, and again still getting sound issues.

Has anyone else having these problems? and have got an idea on how to fix the issue.

Does anyone know if this is a known issue with Microsoft, drivers etc... or is anyone having this issues on other laptop models / brands?

Looks like your machine has AMD processor. This is something to do with AMD drivers. Please

    (a) Uninstall Audio driver

    (b) do a cleanup using following information/fix:

              https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-601

              https://drivers.amd.com/drivers/amdcleanuputility.exe

    (c) reboot machine

Machine will re-install Audio driver for you.

Regards.
