Product: HP envy x360
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Audio does not work and hasn't worked properly since I first purchased the computer earlier this year. When I restart, it will work for a few minutes or hours, but then the speaker goes to "x" and it says "No Output Audio Device Is Installed." I've owned this laptop for almost a year, without sound. I saw that others have had this exact same problem but that topic was locked because it was older. PLEASE HELP!!!

What is exactly your HP envy x360  ?  Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

  http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108

  Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).
