Headphones not recognized in audio jack

HP ENVY m6-w103dx, Core i5-620
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Greetings,

 

Recently I can't use my headphones when plugged in to the audio jack. I had tried reinstalling the drivers, run automatic troubleshooting and requested assitance through the HP Chat Support, but still  the same.

 

Appreciate your support as it has been weeks with the same issue,

According to the message you have recently posted I would like to confirm that this could be a hardware issue and I strongly recommend you to Contact HP Technical Support over the Phone for further assistance without any delay to get your Notebook diagnosed and serviced by an authorized HP Certified Engineer
