Just wondering if any of you guys/gals know how to configure 5.1 surround through 3.5mm jack? I have a HP Pavilion 15-n267ea notebook with Windows 10 64bit currently installed. My HDD failed last year so I had to install a fresh copy of windows (without HP software) because I never made a backup.
If there is a way, I would be grateful if you could let me know in a few steps. I have a surround system hooked up with a 3.5mm jack audio input. Any help would be appreciated.
Regards

Hello @Androider86,

I read your post about the sound issue, and wanted to assist you!
From my understanding, to achieve 5.1 output, you would need the 3 stereo analogue outputs, or you would need to do it through HDMI. I hope this helps.
