The HP Pavilion - 15-cc112tu does not come with a backlit keyboard. While some models in the HP Pavilion series feature a keyboard backlight, this specific model is not equipped with that functionality.
Fix Speaker Sound on HP Pavilion
Step 1: Basic Checks
- 🔊 Make sure volume isn’t muted.
- Right-click on the sound icon in the taskbar → Click Open Sound settings → Check Output device is set to Speakers (Realtek Audio).
Step 2: Run Windows Troubleshooter
- Press Windows + I to open Settings.
- Go to Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
- Select Playing Audio → Click Run the troubleshooter.
- Follow the on-screen steps.
Step 3: Update Audio Driver
- Press Windows + X → Select Device Manager.
- Expand Sound, video and game controllers.
- Right-click on Realtek Audio (or similar) → Click Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
Step 4: Reinstall the Audio Driver
- In Device Manager, right-click Realtek Audio → Click Uninstall device.
- Restart your PC – Windows will automatically reinstall the driver.
- Alternatively, download the latest driver from the HP Support site.
