Hi,

 

My microphone is currently unusable, as it is picking up horrible nonexistant background noise. In a competely quiet room it still seems to be recording something.

 

I have uninstalled and updated the drivers for microphone array (Intel Smart Sound Tech, Intel SST), and nothing seems to help. Also tried external headset; however that didnt work either.

 

Seems to be one problem after another with this laptop. A premium laptop with a premium price tag which is causing endless problems.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
