Product: Hp elitebook 8440p
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista (64-bit)
My hp elitebook 8440p was working well until yesterday where the speakers stopped working but when i plug in head phones the voice is there. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the IDT high definition audio CODEC three times but the problem is still there. When i unistall the audio codec and place arrow at the volume icon it writes headphones..and when i click to playback devices, only headphones are checked but not speakers..if i reinstall the audio Codec both speaker and headphones become checked but speakers won't play. please help me
