HP Recommended

I Just got this HP 27inch curved monitor yesterday and I have it connected to my HP laptop through the HDMI cord that came with the monitor. I cannot hear anything through my monitor speakers, and I have gone into the settings multiple times to try and enable the audio through the monitor, but nothing is working.
