I have been getting 2-3 seconds of sound delay on headphones when I play any video

Omen by HP Laptop 15-dc1xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When my headphones are plugged in, I get a 2-3 seconds of audio delay everytime I play a video.

Please do a clean install Audio software/driver, this should help.


(a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,


         https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp95501-96000/sp95630.exe


(b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver (Realtek) and reboot,
(c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
(d) Reboot again.

Are you sure this will work because I'm not comfortable with uninstalling the driver?
