Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have a HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cs1xxx. My microphone does not work and is not listed on Device Manager. How do I get it back?

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

 

I see you are experiencing Microphone issues with the HP Pavilion Laptop.

 

I have a few recommendations 

  • Update your Notebook computer to the latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date. 
  • Try with any alternate headphones if it works fine. 
  • For further Microphone troubleshooting please click this link
  • Try doing System Restore if it had worked few days ago.
