I find a port for the headset. How do I use an external microphone? My headset has two plugs

The specs of your machine is

It has  1 headphone/microphone combo port which is suitable for all standard headsets. How many plugs on your headsets ?

 

(a) If 1 plug, you simply plug it to the port on the left hand side of your computer

(b) If 2 plugs, you need to combine 2 in one plug
