INTERNAL SPEAKER SOUND DROPS OFF AFTER A FEW SECONDS. WORKS FINE WITH EXTERNAL SPEAKER AND BLUETOOTH BUDS. HAVE TRIED ALL THE TROUBLESHOOTING TECHNIQUES SHORT OF RELOADING THE BIOS. I AM NOT REAL COMFORTABLE DOING THAT. SOUNDS SCARY. I BELIEVE THIS PROBLEM WAS ALWAYS THERE. I RECEIVED THE LAPTOP IN APRIL AS A GIFT FROM MY CHILDREN. I DIDN'T USE IT MUCH. AFTER I LOADED A PROGRAM AND TRIED TO USE THE TRAINING VIDEOS IS WHEN I DISCOVERED THE SOUND ISSUE.
PLEASE HELP

I reviewed your post and I understand that the audio drops frequently.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you uninstall the audio driver from the device manager and then download and install the driver from the below link.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp105501-106000/sp105701.exe
If you continue facing the issue, then run the audio troubleshooter following the below steps.
- Launch Troubleshooting by typing and clicking “Troubleshooting” in Windows search.
- Click on "Playing Audio".
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
