After installing Windows 10 (had Windows 7 before) on my computer, my sound stopped working. I don't know what to do to fix the problem. I have tried the computer troubleshooting and I have tried the HP website troubleshooting steps. I don't use external speakers, just those built in to the computer. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
The only suggestion I can offer would be if your notebook has the IDT audio system, would be to install this W10 IDT audio driver from a newer model notebook. Restart the PC after installing the driver.
