Envy x360 13-ay0008na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The internal microphone just stopped working. It was definitely working previously. There are no input devices detected within windows settings, although in the device manager there's a warning symbol next to "AMD Audio Device" which reports:
-----

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

{Operation Failed}
The requested operation was unsuccessful.

-----
I have tried disabling/enabling the device there without luck. In the Events, there are 3 logs for the microphone not starting all on the first day I got the laptop (although the microphone definitely has worked between that date and now).
I haven't yet tried uninstalling the faulty device within the device manager and seeing it it picks it up again on reboot, and I've not been into the BIOS to see if there are any settings there to help (but it would be weird as there were no bios updates between it working and not working).

Model: Envy 360 13-ay0008na

I've had the computer for 19 days, the mic worked fine for the first almost 2 weeks.
I'm in the UK, not sure whether to return the laptop to the store I bought it from or go through HP for support.

Thanks in advance for your help

Isaac
