Hi there, i just buyed this laptop but when i try to insert the jack for listen the audio there is something weird

jack of audio and microphone can't go full inside the port, is that normal?

i had to use this adaptor because with normal jack of the headphones jack was half out and audio was working outside of the headphones, now audio work inside the headphones but i guess is not normal that half jack is out

I understand the audio jack is not going completely into the audio port on your laptop.

 

Don't worry I'd like to help you out.

 

Did you make any changes to your laptop?

 

Have you tried plugging in a headphone and check if the pin goes inside completely?

 

It looks like the audio jack you are connecting seems to be lengthy. 

 

Few vendors manufacture audio jack to be lengthy to be able to connect with other devices like DVR, blue ray drive etc.

 

So the audio port on your laptop seems fine to me.

 

By plugging a headphone into the audio port and if it fits completely then the audio port does not have any issues.
