Hello,

I recently downloaded the most recent BIOS version in an attempt to fix my speaker problem

but now my computer constantly freezes - and it won't unfreeze unless I cold boot.  Is there any way to roll back that BIOS update?

With the computer powered off try holding the Windows key + B and power on.  It should go into a BIOS recovery mode and restore the BIOS to an earilier version.

Unfortunately that did not work. But thank you for taking the time to respond 🙂

Sadly i dont think downgrading the BIOS is possible.  At least to my knowledge.  You could try using the USB recovery method to see if the BIOS will downgrade but i would not hold me breath on it.  Either way hope that your problem gets resolved.  Have you tried resetting your laptop to factory to see if the problem still presists?
