For about 3 months now my audio drivers have been wack. Sometimes audio doesn't play whenever I wake up my laptop after it sleeps. Sometimes it does play but the audio sounds like it's from an elevator, absolutely no bass at all. Then at one point my audio stopped playing from my speakers and only played through headphones, and now it's playing through headphones and the speakers at the same time. It's incredibly frustrating, and I know for a fact it's not my headphones, since I use them with my phone all the time and they work normally.
I had a similar issue about a year or two ago, but the result wasn't permanent and I had to constantly uninstall and reinstall the correct driver to make my sound work properly. I've done just about everything - uninstalled, reinstalled, removed completely from the computer and downloaded again, troubleshoot, restarted the computer. I just want this laptop to work properly for like.. one day. I really need help, and any advice would do. Right now I cannot afford to get my laptop seen by a specialist, I simply don't have the money for any fixes.
